Hi just thought id write a little message to those people who like to jump on the bandwagon. WWW.MONEYEXPERT.COM is 100% legitimate. How do I know?? Because I work for them. The company does have a small department off staff that generate leads through the website, and may phone up to follow up a recent/previous enquiry. The website offer savings and comparison. Now what people don't understand, is that if you go onto the website and enter in your details, there is small print at the bottom with a consent box to opt out from receiving phone calls and updates. Most websites use this and people should perhaps take more care when expressing there details via the net. The company is NOT a scam and do not sell! If you receive a call then obviously the consent box was not unticked. The company offer services to help people financially and save money, no harm! If you receive calls, you have clearly visited the site so if you receive unwanted phone calls and do not want the service then maybe you should take more care and ask for your number to be removed by a manger. If you get an ominous amount of calls it is because you have either hung up, asked for a call back and not answered or not requested the number to be taken off. Occasionally you may find someone had used you number, a wrong number or your telephone provider has sold you a second hand number. In addition to this statement, I just thought id mention some other company names connected with Money Expert which are trusted business partners and share the same office; Owl Solutions, Simply Switch & Mighty Deals. Hope this helps some people as I do understand receiving unexpected calls can be annoying, how my point is people should perhaps take more care rather than giving the callers grief.

I had phone call from this number this afternoon at 16:49. I just didn't answer, yet dialled 1471 to find out if there was a number or not (as in withheld) and got this.
I don't give my number out and don't use financial sites ever. I've had lots of callers from other numbers that rang every day since installation of my phone, bar the first couple weeks, which I've now stopped with TPS. Yet still there is a few stragglers that seep through. That I've no control over.
But regarding this one it's the first one today and probably won't be the last. I'm not here to complain, just to report this number for calling me. I'm just happy that I don't respond to phone calls. If it was that important they'd text or email me. Which is normally only my family & those I see physically. Especially with the home phone :) -

It is money expert and they are legit. Nothing to do with the journalist Martin Lewis's site. They will be following up something you have applied for or enquired about at some point online. Unfortunately whatever you register for they always want a number so there's a lesson to us all. Don't give out your number if you don't want to be called!!!! There are only two other things you can do now they have your number-block them or report them to the appropriate body. As far as saying you haven't been on their site, are you certain you have never even enquired about any service one of their companies provides? Could be as far back as several years. Mobile and landline numbers are also recyled so if you've recently had a new one that's worth considering (the previous owner could have been very active on the internet-as were mr and mrs patterson, the prevous owners of my 'new' virgin landline number, gggggrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!) You may have entered a competition at some point. There's no enquiry form on the net you can submit without a mobile no. Above all, stop whinging and asking others to do something. Abstain, report, block. Simples. The only reason i am here is to check out the number that keeps 'missed call-ing' me, is that it's my work fone and i don't want to lose business. If you can't block the number just store it under NO! they're auto-dialling anyway so why lose sleep?

I am sick and tired of these people phoning me I am getting 4 -5 phone calls a day, either from this number or "Unknown". These cretins do not seem to understand that I am not interested in whatever they are selling. Even more galling is that they have not got my name right; they address me as "Mr Andrew Mark" which are my two Christian names, not a Surname. The sooner they go out of business with sky high phone bills the better!!

Some idiot called me saying i had been specifically chosen to give the police force discount on the line of goods we sell and it would appear in some police magazine but i had to pay 1st for the privelige of giving discount
I told the moron why would i want to pay to give discount to anyone let alone the police who are nearly bankrupting my company enforcing ridiculous parking restrictions turning customers away the idiot on the other end replied if i give them discounts they might stop harassing me i hung up on the idiot

I would class them as harassment callers. It's all very well rude people on here saying fools don't put your number out there so if you haven't and even if you have, if someone says STOP PHONING ME NOT INTERESTED then that should be an end to it. Not so with this company they just keep on ringing and ringing and ringing. The laws need to be tighter to stop this sort of abuse of people's information!

This number has called me everyday in the evening, i have asked them nicely to stop calling but still they keep on. They say they are from Martin Lewis' moneysaving expert site...i haven't been on the site and they are a scam

Calling to follow up on an inquiry I made via the Money Expert website. I have asked them to stop calling twice because I no longer need the financial product they were offering, but they still keep ringing. Have given up answering!
